i took a similar shot a few years ago, its in the older works. I remember my friend jared really liking the other piece then. Now he's no longer on deviantart, so I don't know if he'd have a chance to look at this or not. As for the title, i think its tragically apt. A quadraplegic cannot feel from neck down. The only part that still retains mobility is the person's head.

Of course, the scope of imagination is boundless.

This is kind of inspired by the movie "the sea inside" - the man in the movie became paralysed from neck down but he didnt let this affect his life. He lived to a ripe old age and when he felt that it was his time to go, nobody would let him die. They all thought he was depressed and wanted to kill himself. In the end he had to fight for his right and freedom to choose to die.
